What's On
Love, Sex, and Marriage: The Stage Play is the prequel to the original Youtube series “Love, Sex, and Marriage” (youtube.com/treonline21) and focuses on the relationship between the two main characters. The story follows the life of Darrin, a mega celebrity, who is a closeted gay man, signed to a homophobic music label. As the story unfolds, he has to decide if he wants to do what he loves (be a mainstream artist) or be with who he loves (Ken, a man he recently met). This groundbreaking stage play demystifies the relationships between homosexual and heterosexual men in a funny and relatable way.

7 Stages presents Waiting for Godot
Two sad sack drifters wait by a tree for a mysterious stranger named Godot, who never comes in this classic tragicomic absurdist play by Samuel Beckett. For the Love of Henson: Syrens of the South’s Tribute to Jim Henson and 11th Anniversary Show
Sunday September 30th
Doors: 7:45pm
Show: 8pm
Syrens of the South is celebrating 11 years of bringing the best Burlesque, Vaudeville, and Variety from all over the world! Since we had to cancel our 10-year anniversary show last year due to a stupid Hurricane, we’ve decided to make this year extra special and do a theme very close to our hearts, MUPPETS! Yes, for the love of all things Henson, we’re hoping to bring you a show so amazing it would leave Statler and Waldorf speechless!
We’ve had the pleasure of working with so many different performers over the years that it would take forever to list them all but we thank each and every one of them for being a part of this journey. This was a crazy dream that we were never sure would work and it did, mostly thanks to amazing collaborations with outstanding performers and the wonderful audience and fan base that has been there since the beginning. So if you’re reading this, thank you, you helped make this possible.
Admission to the 11th Anniversary Show is $25 advance/$30 at the door for General Admission or we’re giving a present to all of our fans who have supported us over the years by offering $20 General Admission to anyone wearing a Syrens of the South or Southern Fried Burlesque Fest T-Shirt. There is limited VIP seating at $40 per person. VIP seating gets you in the front two rows with more interaction with the performers as well as a gift bag! VIP tables for 4 are $200 and get you on the floor with special gifts from our sponsors, a gift bag, and the closest seats to the action.
Burlesque is the art of the striptease, with a focus on the tease. The performers occasionally strip to pasties, but there is no nudity in any of our productions. This show is a revival of an American art form that has become an international movement.
