Full Radius Dance, Atlanta’s globally recognized leader in physical integrated dance (dancers with and without disabilities), returns to 7 Stages Theatre (1105 Euclid Avenue, NE in Atlanta, Georgia) April 8 – 10, 2022. Featured on the program are a ‘first look’ of Alice, Peter, and Dorothy and the premiere of Undercurrents.

Alice, Peter, and Dorothy examines the fantasy novels Alice in Wonderland, Peter and Wendy, and The Wizard of Oz through a disability-centric lens – how does disability inform the authors’ work? What rhetoric is found in the novels that minimalizes and/or normalizes the visual or invisible mark of disability? The full-length Alice, Peter, and Dorothy will premiere in 2023. Funding for this work is provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.

In Undercurrents, dancers flow on and off the stage in currents of movement, pulling the dance in unexpected directions. Partnerships are created and washed away, subtle shifts create dramatic effects, and hidden feelings and impulses run below the surface.
