The 26th Atlanta Osun Festival features high-energy dances of Nigerian Yoruba and the Yoruba diaspora from Brazil and the Caribbean. The Atlanta traditional performance originated in 1998 by Manga African Dance Director Dr. Ramatu Afegbua-Sabbatt and the late Master Talking Drummer Baba Adebisi Adeleke, to whom this year’s classes and concert are dedicated.
